I watched a program last night called human planet with an elephant who understands commands in 3 different languages. Nice.

The people of the tribes featured in the program had incredible lifestyles. Their simple way of life was so refreshing to see, and led me to the realisation that 'civilised' man has evolved to be truly (physically at least) useless. Despite the vast differences between us and them, watching a man climb to the top of a tree the size of a skyscraper and getting stung to buggery by bees just to get honey for his wife felt somehow familiar...
